Eleni Handrinos
Centre Director
As I grew up I spent a lot of time at home with my mother who also managed daycare for children in the neighbourhood from our home, so caring for other’s children was in my blood. At the age of 17 I started my first traineeship, and I have worked in the childcare industry ever since.
Following my traineeship and eager to learn more, I started to build more relationships with families needing support and could see how I really could make an impact in the industry. I studied for my diploma and then my Early Childhood degree, whilst working full time and assisting in running a pre-school program .
After experiencing 5 years in the early childhood industry I moved on to manage an OOSH (out of school hours) and vacation service, ultimately becoming the director at Roselands Early Learning Centre. My passion lies in working with the younger age children and making those wonderful family connections, making a difference in the community within which I now work and live.
